Let’s face it — we’re all looking for that little something extra, that certain je ne sais quoi to make our work stand out, to attract readers to our content and, once they’re there, to encourage them to stick around for a while.

Incorporating audio narration into your posts is one way to achieve this, offering your readers, fans, and followers another means of enjoying your content. Not only that, but it greatly assists those with visual impairments, dyslexia, or other reading difficulties that may otherwise prevent them from accessing your work.

Whether you record your own narration (you’ll need a microphone, a quiet/ sound-proofed recording space, and a DAW, or Digital Audio Workstation such as Audacity), or hire a professional narrator/ producer to bring your words to life, adding an audio component to your material can not only give your latest posts a bit of extra lustre, but can rejuvenate your older posts, too, giving them a brand new lease of life.
